    Rainbow sherbet with Squirt (float)

    1. Weird.

    2. Sounds good/cool.

    3. It’s delicious.  In fact, it’s quite refreshing.

    4. Rootbeer floats only!!

    5. Doesn’t everyone have this on their “when you’re sick” comfort food list?

  • I’ll stick with weird! Without a doubt…it’s weird.

  • Of course, my vote is for 3 and 5.

  • #2.

ryc: Hope you can get your health issues worked out. I am feeling better today, but still sneezing, etc. I’ll just have to give it some time.  I’ve been using every remedy I can think of… Zicam, vitamin C, tea, chicken soup, Sudafed, rest. Hubby had it bad and is still not over it. No fun.

I haven’t talked to AL folks since last week Sunday. They were doing ok then, and reported that the TX crew were out and about, so I’m assuming they are fine too.  I haven’t felt like talking on the phone much this week. :)

  • I haven’t had this particular combination, so I’ll go with 2,

but I have had sherbets with 7-up or ginger ale, and they’re great. Anyone who likes party punch should like a variation on this!!

  • I’m all about that!

I grew up in a house where sherbet played an important part of our ice cream experience. What my dad knew and I learned from him was sherbet in the freezer lasts longer and has less chance of being raided by others.

I think that combo sounds GREAT!

  • Actually, cream soda float (w ice cream) is great, too. Orange sherbet was our mainstay for Dan. Never had your version with Rainbow sherbet.  Maybe won’t try it till it gets really hot. . .like in August when we reach the 90′s.  At the moment it is lovely — high 70′s and there is no need.  :)

  • Sounds a little bit new agey to me (the rainbow part), but it does sound kind of refreshing on a hot summer day.
